Overview

Health Research BC and Fraser Health partner to support research that strengthens health care delivery, builds regional research capacity, and improves health outcomes across BC’s Fraser region. Together, we support clinician-led and applied research focused on knowledge translation, health systems improvement, equity, and community wellbeing. This collaboration helps strengthen the generation and use of health research across one of BC’s fastest-growing and most diverse regions.

Fraser Health is the heart of health care from Burnaby to Boston Bar, serving more than two million people across 20 diverse municipalities in the Fraser Salish region. Fraser Health recognizes that it provides care on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Coast Salish and Nlaka’pamux Nations, and is home to 32 First Nations within the region. Dedicated staff, medical staff, and volunteers support care in hospitals and communities across the region.
