Health Research BC partners in several ways to optimize impact, increase resources, and reduce duplication across the health research ecosystem.

We collaborate with health research funders, including non-profit organizations, for-profit entities and foundations to co-deliver funding opportunities. We also offer match funding to support BC-based research teams applying to non-BC government-funded competitions, ensuring equal or greater investment flows into the province.

We co-create partnerships that drive priority research and related initiatives. Our flexible and collaborative approaches are built around the unique goals of each partner — opening new avenues to pursue shared priorities and create meaningful impact.

With the Match Funding envelope now fully committed, we are taking this opportunity to explore more flexible approaches to supporting research talent and working with partners to address emerging needs.
