In an evolving fiscal and social environment, research must be efficient and effective.
Guided by our strategy, we’re advancing solutions to build a more connected, responsive research system. We are strengthening BC’s clinical trials ecosystem, enhancing research supports, and embedding meaningful impact assessment. We’re also supporting research that engages patients and community members, through our funding programs and the BC SUPPORT Unit.
By 2028, we aim to see increased clinical trials activity and investment across the province, a more efficient and connected health research system, and broader adoption of robust research impact practices by institutions throughout BC.
