Ishtiaq Ahmed

Ishtiaq Ahmed is an intensivist, practicing at Fraser Health since 2015.  He served as the Department Head of Critical Care at Burnaby Hospital for several years.  Ishtiaq has been involved in both basic science and clinical research, completing a Master’s in basic physiology, studying ion channels.  He is currently involved in quality improvement and research projects within the intensive care setting.
