Lauren Irving (she/her) is a family nurse practitioner based in Prince George. She serves as Medical Lead at Soonats’ooneh Health Society, a busy primary care clinic where she provides comprehensive clinical care and leadership within a team-based setting. She also teaches in the Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Northern British Columbia.
Lauren is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences. Her research focuses on cardiovascular disease risk following hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, with an emphasis on primary care screening, patient awareness, and health equity in northern and rural communities. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the outdoors of northern BC.
