Krisztina Vasarhelyi

Dr. Krisztina Vasarhelyi is Senior Learning Health Systems Lead at Vancouver Coastal Health and Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University. Her research seeks to make health services more responsive and equitable through partnerships with communities, people with lived experience and health-system partners. Krisztina leads embedded research across community health, public health and Indigenous health programs. Her work draws on collaborative modelling, operations research, evaluation, qualitative research and mixed methods. She works with diverse partners throughout the research process, from setting priorities and defining questions through interpretation and implementation. Krisztina also mentors embedded researchers, helping them develop the research, leadership, collaboration and change-management skills needed to improve health systems.
