Cindy Hoang

Dr. Cindy Van Hoang is the Clinical Counselling Practice Lead at Vancouver Coastal Health Richmond, where she supports clinical counsellors across diverse programs in advancing evidence-informed, client-centred care. With over a decade of experience in mental health and substance use services, she has led initiatives in practice development, training, and quality improvement at both regional and provincial levels. Her clinical leadership is grounded in values-based care, trauma-informed practice, and equity-oriented approaches. Cindy holds a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, with a research focus on emotional intelligence, leadership, and workplace wellbeing. Her work is driven by a commitment to fostering sustainable practice change through collaboration, implementation science, and meaningful client engagement.
