The Research Approvals Processes Project (RAPP) is a provincially-led initiative that supports research within the health system in British Columbia. Health Research BC shares these updates on behalf of the RAPP team.
Work is wrapping up this month on the Initial Deliverables, a set of foundational elements of the Research Approvals Processes Project (RAPP). Deliverables scheduled for implementation will be refined and built upon based on evaluation and feedback post-introduction. The RAPP team developed the Initial Deliverables in partnership with health authority leadership, staff and researchers, which are divided by workstream: Ethics, Privacy, Operational Review, Contracts and Agreements, Data and Front Counter. These Phase I deliverables are set to be completed by the end of the 2024/25 fiscal and Phase II work will begin in the next fiscal.
Please see the following link for a detailed overview of the Initial Deliverables by workstream.
