Health Research BC and Parkinson Society British Columbia partner to fund researchers whose work contributes to advancing understanding and care for people living with Parkinson’s. Together, we've supported projects exploring innovative treatments, including stem cell research and the role of microglia in disease progression.

Parkinson Society British Columbia is the voice of British Columbians living with Parkinson’s. Its purpose is to ease the burden and find a cure for Parkinson’s disease through advocacy, education, research and support services. The Society is part of a strong community united in its dedication to improve the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s.

Research Interests

Parkinson Society British Columbia is interested in co-funding research relating to Parkinson’s and movement disorders, that contributes to the collective understanding of Parkinson’s, advances new treatments, and furthers the search for a cure.
