Faezeh Jame-Chenarboo

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University, where I use chemical biology approaches to investigate the genetic and molecular mechanisms that drive cellular state transitions, with a particular focus on neurodegeneration and lysosomal biology. My work integrates genome‑wide CRISPR screening, live‑cell reporter technologies, and stem cell–based disease models to identify regulatory networks that determine why some cells remain healthy while others transition into disease states. My long‑term goal is to establish an independent research program that decodes how genetic, epigenetic, and post‑transcriptional systems are rewired during disease progression and to leverage these insights to uncover new therapeutic opportunities.
