Innovative and adjunct medical research, out-of-the-box scientific medical research and practices, holistic patient treatment approach, personalized medicine
Health Research BC and the Lotte & John Hecht Memorial Foundation partner to fund researchers whose work contributes to advancing innovative and unconventional approaches to cancer treatment. Together, we've supported projects like Dr. Tashmeeta Ahad’s development of non-invasive optical biopsies for monitoring skin cancer treatment response, and Dr. Simon Wisnovsky’s exploration of glycomics and genomic screening to identify new targets for cancer immunotherapy. This collaboration supports researchers that challenge traditional paradigms and who seek transformative solutions in cancer care.
