Sam Liu

Sam Liu is an Associate Professor in the School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education, and the Director of the Digital Health Lab at the University of Victoria, Canada. His research focuses on developing and evaluating digital communication technology (e.g., web-based and mobile interventions) aimed to prevent and manage chronic disease. Dr. Liu is a Michael Smith Health Research BC Scholar focused on using innovative digital technology to promote healthy lifestyle and prevent obesity. He is also a co-founder of Pathverse mobile health platform, which help researchers and clinicians leverage mobile and wearable technology to improve health outcomes.
