Dr. Mattie Walker is a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Northern British Columbia. Mattie’s research focuses on improving mental health care and community responses to gender-based violence for 2S/LGBTQIA+ people through community-led methods. Mattie completed their doctoral training in Social Dimensions of Health at the University of Victoria.
