Lotenna Olisaeloka

I am a physician-scientist whose clinical work and research across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and Canada have exposed me to persistent gaps in access to mental healthcare, particularly for underserved populations. These experiences led me to pursue an MSc in Global Health at University College London, where I explored how population health approaches and digital technologies can expand access to care. I am currently a PhD candidate at the UBC Faculty of Medicine, where my research focuses on developing equitable generative artificial intelligence-based tools to improve access to mental healthcare. Through my work, I aim to bridge clinical practice, research, and policy to advance equitable, evidence-based care and support health system transformation.
