Dr. Angela Russolillo is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia. She is a health services researcher whose work focuses on improving mental health and substance use systems of care through health policy, system reform, and service delivery research. Drawing on her clinical training and experience in mental health care, she examines how health policies, services, and models of care can be designed and implemented to improve access, quality, and outcomes for people living with mental health and substance use disorders.
Her work has been supported by provincial and national funding agencies, and she collaborates with researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and health system partners to translate evidence into meaningful improvements in care. Through her research, Dr. Russolillo aims to generate actionable evidence that informs decision-making, advances health system reform, and strengthens mental health and substance use services across British Columbia and Canada.
