Overview

Health Research BC and Praxis Spinal Cord Institute partner to support research that drives real-world impact for people with spinal cord injuries (SCI). This collaboration focuses on fostering innovation, translating evidence into care, and centering the voices of those with lived experience to improve health outcomes and quality of life.

Praxis is a Canadian-based not-for-profit organization that leads global collaboration in spinal cord injury research, innovation, and care. Praxis advances SCI research and innovation worldwide through networks of international researchers, health care professionals, clinical trials, entrepreneurs, investors, and PLEX (people with lived experience of SCI). Praxis is part of the life-changing work done in the life sciences sector, and plays a key role in the development of new technologies and treatments for those living with SCI. Our vision is a world without paralysis after SCI.
