Conconi Family Foundation

Overview

Health Research BC and the Conconi Family Foundation are partnering to support innovative biodevice research that advances how scientists study cancer and develop new treatments. Together we launched the Michael Smith Health Research BC and Conconi Family Foundation BioDevice Innovation Fellowship program, embedded in the University of British Columbia’s School of Biomedical Engineering. The Conconi Family Foundation is a private family foundation established in 2003. Robert and Diane Conconi started the foundation as a way for their family to give back to the community which enabled their success. They continue to be involved as Board Members. The Conconi Family Foundation aims to inspire lasting change and improve the quality of life across communities in British Columbia. We do so by building partnerships and funding key initiatives across three priority areas: healthcare, social services and education.
