Island Health, Michael Smith Health Research BC, and Victoria Hospitals Foundation are co-hosting an afternoon of connection and inspiration. 

This event will bring together leading researchers from Vancouver Island to share innovative research and show how collaboration across the health system is transforming care. 

Join us to be inspired by stories of discovery and real-world impact. Short, engaging presentations will be followed by questions, conversation, and dedicated time for networking and connection with researchers, health system leaders, and partners.

Time: Doors open at 3:00 p.m. | Program begins at 3:30 p.m.
Location: Esquimalt Gorge Park Pavilion, Victoria, BC
Light refreshments, including passed canapés, will be served.

Health research leaders will present a broad spectrum of projects enhancing patient care and health outcomes, such as: 

  • Building community and capacity for equitable access to medical assistance in dying
  • Enhancing quality of life for younger adults in long-term care
  • Restoring function and mobility for people with spasticity
