Glen Copping formerly served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial and Investment Officer at Pacific Blue Cross as well as Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President, Systems Development and Performance at Vancouver Coastal Health. Glen also brings more than two decades of experience working for prominent global technology companies in Canada and the United States, such as Microsoft and Nortel Networks, where research and development and intellectual property were critical investments.
In addition to his corporate roles, Glen contributes his expertise to the public sector as Audit and Risk Committee Chair on the Board of Transportation Investment Corporation, a BC crown corporation delivering the province’s largest transportation construction projects. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of British Columbia, is a CPA (BC and Washington) and a former professional engineer.
