I currently work in the Intensive Care Unit at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). My research spans a broad range of clinically integrated translational research, from improving neurological outcomes following cardiac arrest to neuromonitoring during normothermic regional perfusion and developing prediction models for the dying process following withdrawal of life-sustaining measures. My long-term goal is to become an independent scientist developing evidence-based strategies to improve neurological recovery in critical care. To date, I have authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications, received a CIHR Canada Postdoctoral Research Award, and recently contributed to a successful Heart and Stroke Cardiac Arrest Research Team Grant.
