Lynsey Hamilton

Lynsey Hamilton is an Irish immigrant settler grateful to be living on the unceded lands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Lynsey completed her masters in Public Health in Scotland before moving to Vancouver where she has worked in health research and knowledge translation for over 15 years. She is a firm believer that people and communities can and should guide their own health journeys and that conversations and relationships will lead to better public health programs and health outcomes. Lynsey is currently a Knowledge Mobilization specialist at the BC Centre for Disease Control working across all the service lines and in particular supporting the Community Antimicrobial Stewardship program which aims to support the public in raising awareness of antimicrobial resistance and providing tools to support patient-clinician conversations for informed decision making.
