Maha Maryam-Killoran

Maha Maryam-Killoran is a registered midwife and a first-generation Pakistani-Canadian woman who has lived with a pelvic pain disorder for most of her life. Her research project was motivated by her own experience with pelvic floor dysfunction and childbirth, and her desire to provide more comprehensive care to her clients, especially those who would otherwise not have access to pelvic floor therapy. She has completed numerous pelvic health certifications in addition to her midwifery degree, and is also completing a Master of Science in Midwifery at McMaster University. Her funded project aligns with the research she is pursuing as part of her graduate studies.
