Dr. Janne Veerbeek is a Dutch-trained physical therapist and clinical healthcare scientist with more than 20 years of clinical experience, primarily in neurology and neurorehabilitation. She is an Assistant Professor in the School of Exercise Science, Physical & Health Education at the University of Victoria. Her research focuses on monitoring, predicting, and optimizing functioning, quality of life, well-being, and health across the lifespan for individuals living with the consequences of neurological conditions. She values interdisciplinary approaches that engage multiple stakeholders in addressing practice-based questions, as well as pragmatic approaches that facilitate implementation.
